The
Congregation supports many local and international groups by providing:
On hand and financial assistance to Church Street Ministries,
that provides food, furniture and clothing for veterans and low-income
residents in the Southwest Suburbs.
On hand, financial and facility use to the Academy for
Dramatic Arts which provides young people in the southwest suburbs an
opportunity to develop their acting and theater support skills.
On hand and financial assistance to Bethany Presbyterian
Church meal program that serves food to low income residents in the Gordon
Square area on the last Friday of each month.
Face to face guidance to OpenTable for those young
adults that age out of the foster care program and need help developing their
life and career goals.
Face to face guidance via Warriors Journey Home to veterans
that are struggling with invisible wounds that come from their military
experience.
Financial assistance to Dougbe River School, which
provides a safe educational environment to young people in the Doughbe River
area of Liberian, Africa.
Financial assistance to Blessings in a Backpack that
provides backpacks and food to children in the Olmsted Falls school district.
On hand and financial assistance to the Kids Summer Lunch
Program provides free lunches in conjunction with churches in Berea, Ohio
to students during the summer
Financial assistance to The Society of St. Andrew’s
gathers remaining crops from farmers and transports the food to agencies that
can distribute it to those in need.
On hand and financial assistance to Rise Against Hunger
which provides emergency rations to people affected by famine or
disasters.
Financial assistance to Ohio Guidestone, which
provides family and youth outpatient and residential counseling.
Provides space for the following non-profit organizations that support people with special needs in our community:
Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon(Multiple groups)
Recovery
Overeaters Anonymous
