Respecting & Welcoming Diversity
Following Jesus’ example and teaching, we seek to provide a safe space in which you are accepted and can share your hopes and fears, joys and troubles.
We welcome you, regardless of your skin color, ethnicity, or nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital or family status, education, employment status, or income, abilities and limitations, health or addictions, political persuasion or legal status, religion, beliefs, uncertainty, or skepticism.
We treasure God’s gift of diversity and welcome you to our community of faith in which we celebrate our common traits and the precious differences that make each of us unique.
At 10 AM on Sunday, our gatherings include a welcome, songs – both instrumental and vocal, responsive readings, a time to greet one another, prayers – silent and spoken, a reading, a message, an opportunity to give, a closing blessing.
Communion is shared at least once a month, and all are welcome
The church hosts external groups (AA, Al-Anon, Recovery, Scouts, and Academy for Dramatic Arts).
Weekly activities include book/Bible studies and children’s faith formation.
When you donate to Christ United Church, you contribute to our mission of providing a safe, inclusive space and essential support for our community. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
